Who are these kids?

All the rookies in Cincinnati are not the latest boy band

Off-Season 2219 (Cincinnati) - With 11 rookies, and 33 total players with three years or less experience on the roster, the word of the day in Cincinnati is youth.

'We've got so many kids here, we had to order extra milk,' long time Bengals coach Courtney McLemore said as his youngsters went through the rigors of training camp. With nine draft picks next season and some veterans in their twilight years still around, those numbers only seem to be going up.

On the other hand, all those young players will be getting trial by fire in the spotlight of the USAFL.

'We'll take some lumps in the rebuilding process, that's for sure,' GM 'Trader' Lee Remley commented. 'But we'll come out the better for it. We were 5-9 last year with several veterans who have moved on, so it was time to roll over this roster and try some new blood.'

McLemore on the other hand, has fun teasing his rookies about peach fuzz and learning how to drive.

'I'm sure the rookie talent show will be a blast this year,' McLemore commented, fully expecting to be made fun of after all his teasing of the youngsters. 'But seriously, we have a lot to teach and they have a lot to learn. We'll see where that takes us as we move forward.'
