Off-Season 2226 (Orchard Park, NY) - The Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks completed what amounted to a blockbuster trade in two separate deals this week. Buffalo received six players in return for 7 picks. Of those, QB Mike Webster is the most coveted.

Roy Hanks, the Bills' QB of 14 seasons, welcomes the addition. 'I'm getting a little long in the tooth. This is my final season, so the front office went out and found my replacement so I could groom him for a year. I expect tons of retirement gifts at each away game we play.'

Ricotta also retooled the offensive backfield with the additions of HB Mike Haines and FB Brian Madsen, rebuilt the OL with the additiona of Lee Meeks and Irving Hicks, and plugged a big hole on the DL with Bert White.

'We were trying to deal for an LB and DB, as well, but couldn't reach an agreement with a different team before the trade deadline.' said GM Ricotta.

Will the moves continue the Bills strong postseason runs of the last few years? Only time will tell.
