Bills Backers Bummed By Betting Line

The undefeated Buffalo Bills are underdogs

Playoffs 2235 (Orchard Park, NY) - Fans of the Buffalo Bills don't know if they should be happy or mad. The line on the 2235 Sundby Cup game came out yesterday and the Bills are 1 point underdogs against the Minnesota Vikings. After completing their 5th undefeated regular season under GM Mark Ricotta, there are mixed emotions.

'It's a slap in the face' said one fan, who asked to remain anonymous. 'I think it will be good motivation for the team' said another. Nobody interviewed for this story wanted to give their name, most likely because they are virtual fans.

GM Ricotta sees it differently. 'If this team needs any more motivation than completing an undefeated season, especially after last year's disappointing exit in the playoffs....well, then maybe we need new players.'

To their credit, the players aren't being distracted. 'We know better by now' said QB Mike Webster, who is trying to lead his team to their 6th championship in his 9 years as the starter. 'We don't read the papers. We're not on social media. We don't twat, or twit, or tweet, or whatever the kids do nowadays on that newfangled intranet thing they got going on. We just play football. X's and O's.'

We're not so sure the front office feels so confident. Ricotta was seen pacing back and forth in his office after the interview. Perturbation? Premonition? We'll find out tonight.
