Bengals miss playoffs despite stellar season
By "Porsche Lynn Commode"

Off-Season 2248 (Cincinnati) - They scored the most points of any offense in the league. Their defense was no slouch in stopping their opponents either. They led the league in passing. They went 9-5.

But they missed the playoffs. Buffalo had a better division record. Pittsburgh had a better record in the AFC.

Their boss made no excuses.

'We didn't play well when we needed to,' GM 'Trader' Lee Remley said. 'We started out 2-3 and that sunk us.'

Not good for a team that laid out a lot of salaries to put this team together.

'That will be addressed, believe me,' Remley pointed out. 'We don't accept mediocrity here.'

Those who know the Bengals GM suspect it will be.
