Change Translates into Wins for Chiefs

What took so long?

Regular Season 2083  - Chief's GM Harrison FINALLY changed up the offense AND defense and it translates into the Chiefs' best start in so many seasons, I can't even remember. Their last Championship was in 2051, 32 seasons ago. 'I think I learned something this off-season', Harrison said. 'I kept trying to make my players fit a system that USED to work so long ago. Tired of the .500 and below seasons, I figured we could do no worse. But 5-0? No, not in the first season when you completely change up everything on offense AND defense. But I think all of the guys were hungry to win and the change brought a new perspective. QB Steve Flint is playing his 15th season and he has a QB rating of 124.0? I'll bet you didn't know he holds the modern era record for QB rating at 105.2? And that was 9 seasons ago.'

There had been quite a few empty seats the past few seasons in Arrowhead Stadium. I'll bet you won't be able to buy tickets on Ebay even for the rest of the home games. Maybe Harrison has found that magic that it takes to win again. Plenty of season left, but I don't think it's a fluke. At 186 points scored in 5 games, that puts the Chiefs on pace to shatter the record for most points scored in a season of 412. All I have to say to Mr Harrison is this, WHAT TOOK SO LONG?
