Buccaneers fire cannon, plant their flag

Tampa eats Buffalo Wings after winning championship

Off-Season 2262 (Tampa) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are USAFL champs after beating Buffalo 24-20 in a game where they enjoyed home field advantage.

While a close game overall, Tampa felt a bit of vindication at the victory over the 50 time champion GM in Buffalo, as evidenced by events that happened after the game, right before they enjoyed plates of Buffalo Wings and Bison burgers in the raucous locker room celebration.

After the game ended, Tampa GM Addam Brown, wearing an eye patch over where he had poked himself with the pointy end of a sword that he carried around all Sundby Cup week, ran onto the field with the Buccaneer flag waving behind him and planted it in the Buffalo side of the end zone right in the middle of the 'B', while screaming at the Buffalo sideline as fans looked on either amused or in disbelief, depending on your rooting interest.

Buffalo GM Mark Ricotta had a predictable response.

'I thought it was cheesy,' Ricotta said.
