Off-Season 2281 (Charlotte) - The Carolina Panthers came back from a 13-0 deficit at halftime to win the Sundby Cup 16-13 on Sunday and bring another trophy to Charlotte.

GM 'Trader' Lee Remley now has a handful of rings as he came away with his tenth championship, but as always, he credited the team on the field, despite being named General Manager of the Year by the SWA.

'These guys came together to give us a special season,' Remley commented after the game. 'Some of these guys have been around a while, some are new, but they came together as a team and delivered.'

No one could point to an outstanding performance in the game, but HB Don Thompsen rolled up 84 yards rushing, QB Jay Brown threw the ball for 171 yards, and WR Clay King hauled in 10 passes. A key touchdown came on a Clint Davidson interception and kicker Courtney Everhart added three field goals, including the one in overtime to bring Carolina the win.

On the other side of the field, a key missed field goal by Tommy York that came up short right before the half kept Baltimore from sealing the deal in regulation. Baltimore GM Mark Thul was very pensive after the game regarding the missed opportunity to add to his huge trophy case.

'My kicker grew up a Vikings fan, so he knows all about missed field goals,' Thul mused. 'I think he might be cursed.'
