Four Years of Frozen Flexibility Finally Finished for Bills

Buffalo will finally be relieved of DL Austin Clark's disastrous contract

Playoffs 2284 (Orchard Park, NY) - In a very, very, very short press conference, GM Mark Ricotta announced today that the disastrous tenure of DL Austin Clark and his handcuffing $27.5mil salary has finally come to an end. Ricotta read a one sentence, previously prepared statement. 'DL Austin Clark informed the team today of his intentions to retire.' He did not take any questions, but was seen jump-foot-kicking, whistling and smiling in the hallway after he left the room.

Clark must have finally gotten the hint that he wasn't wanted after spending every year after signing his 27.5mil contract on the Inactive list. That also included a stop in DEN, where he was also on the Inactive list.

Oh happy day...
