Panthers change offense - What?

After 98 seasons, Carolina changes from West Coast offense to I-Formation

Off-Season 2288 (Charlotte) - Breaking news: the Panthers have a new offense?

Say what?

Carolina had run the West Coast offense (or as GM 'Trader' Lee Remley called it, the Midwest, since he liked telling us the West Coast offense was created by Bill Walsh as the offensive coordinator for Paul Brown in Cincinnati) for 98 seasons. This was as constant as the northern star.

This is news on the order of the British ruling America. Or the Beatles breaking up. Or Elton John being gay.

(Editor's Note: We had to let Jordan in on a few things after she submitted this article)

This after the team switched their defense to a 3-4 earlier this offseason.

There are big changes afoot in Carolina. What else will happen? Can Panthers fans stand the strain?

We will find out when the 2288 season begins.
