Panthers return to playoffs

Carolina surprises everyone with 11-3 season
By "Jordan Rulz"

Off-Season 2290 (Charlotte) - Even the Panthers long time GM didn't predict this. He was the guy who hung a 'Pardon Our Dust' sign outside the Panthers World complex referring to the rebuild after long time veterans were traded away.

Sometimes, though, change is good. It definitely was in this case.

The Carolina Panthers are back in the playoffs, and hoping to make some noise in a good way.

'I didn't even predict this,' Panthers GM 'Trader' Lee Remley said to the media after the season. 'We figured we were a year away at best from being competitive again.'

No one predicted the New York football Giants would descend to the seventh level of Hades as well, by the way. 2290 has been an interesting season to say the least.

As far as the Panthers, the veterans led the way on offense behind a revamped offensive line. The defense really stepped up after a dismal few seasons giving up points.

We will see where the playoffs lead, but the journey has already been a pleasure this season.

'I am really looking forward to see what we've got when it counts,' Remley said. 'These guys have really come through this season. I'm proud of them.'
