Pre-Season 2089 (Albany, NY) - The New York Giants announced yesterday that they will be giving defensive lineman Bob Walters a franchise player tag.

Walters, the #12 pick in the 2086 draft, will now be earning $8 million a season for the rest of his career.

'Walters was the biggest steal in that draft.' GM Joe Malloy said at the press conference following the signing. 'He might be following in the footsteps of Timm Reeser. Hopefully, unlike Reeser, Walters will help bring us championships in the near future.'
