Packers Hire AGM

Off-Season 2094 (Green Bay) - The Green Bay Packers are proud to announce the hiring of Matt Ginnow as their new AGM.

Ginnow and current Packers’ President and General Manager Todd Ricotta go back a number of years in the world of professional football, with Ricotta and Ginnow both coaching teams that played in the Blood & Guts Football League (BGFL) that broadcast its games on the CompuServe network back in 1995. Ginnow coached the Tampa Bay Bucccaneers and Ricotta the Buffalo Bills.

“Matt and I have known each other for a long, long time and we have a mutual respect for each other’s knowledge of the game and what it takes to build a successful franchise. I’m extremely excited about adding someone with his knowledge and understanding for the game to our front office.'

Ginnow, while clearly looking to be on the fast track to becoming a future GM in the league, will assist Ricotta in a number of areas, the foremost of which is in the war room on draft nights.

“It’s been difficult making the drafts on a regular basis with 2, 4 and 6-year old kids at home, so I’ve traded completely out of a number of drafts the past few decades to make the time...with Matt on board I hope to have the Packers more involved in the college draft on a season-by-season basis and Matt will handle selection responsibilities for our team on a periodic basis.”

Ginnow spends his spare time in law enforcement in Las Vegas.
