Bane of the NFC West?

Bears name new starting QB
By "Jim Donovan III"

Pre-Season 2120 (Chicago, IL) - In a move that was met with some nervousness and a great deal of excitement, the Bears have announced that Eric Bain will be taking over the helm of the Chicago offense, following an excellent preseason and a decline in the long-time starter, Tony Ruether.

'We love what Tony has brought to the franchise over the years, including some of the best numbers from a Bears quarterback, but Eric has been waiting in the wings for a while and learning from the vet and it is time we get him in the game. It's a lot like when the great Brett Favre made way for the Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. We think Eric is going to be that calibur of player and Tony can mentor him through this season.'
