Talks Come To A Hault

Relocation...more than a possiblity
By "Shawn Cortez"

Pre-Season 2080 (Cleveland, OH) - Talks between the Browns and the city of Cleveland have officially haulted. The Browns will finish out their lease at the stadium, at which time relocation will more than likely take place.

'We think we deserve a little more than what we have, and it doesn't look like the people of Cleveland are willing to give it to us.'

The Browns will be leaving behind a ton of loyal fans.

'Its not the fans fault. There comes a time in this business where both sides might not agree. When that happens you need to move on and do what is best for the team. I love the fans of Cleveland. Its the administrative part that doesn't want to budge on the current situation.'

When asked where he would take the team, the Cleveland owner did not have an immediate answer. All that is known at this point is when the lease is up for the stadium, the Browns will be packing up and leaving town.

Rumors have them going to Cincinnati, which is still in the state of Ohio. We have no official word on that at the moment however.
