Lewis Under Fire To Resolve Strike

Lewis: "We will not bend - we built this league - we decide what is best for the USAFL"

Pre-Season 2152 (Philadelphia) - While exiting the gorgeous center-city USAFL national headquarters, USAFL Commissioner/Founder Andrew Lewis was barraged with questions from dozens of reporters as he tried to make his way to his limousine. Lewis did not respond to any of the questions or comments during his open-field run to the back-seat of brand-new Tesla stretch HyrdoMobile.

The USAFL has released a statement saying 'negotiations are ongoing and this will hopefully be a short postponement to the USAFL calendar.'

The League has yet to respond to the player's walk-out from the latest round of negotiations. USA Today's league sources tell them that the strike should be over by the end of the week, with players reporting to training camp by next Tuesday afternoon.

The league is reportedly losing a billion dollars a day while the strike remains in effect.

After Commissioner Lewis drove away from the scene, reporters were questioning each other as to the identity of the man following in Lewis' footsteps into the limousine. The gentlemen has never been seen before and the press is very familiar with the commissioner's inner circle.

USA Today promises to continue it's round-the-clock coverage of the 2152 USAFLPA Strike. Tomorrow's feature article will be on USAFLPA's President, Dallas Cowboys DL Barry Albritton.
