Playoffs?

Bengals make playoffs in first year in Cincinnati
By "Who Dey"

Playoffs 2160 (Cincinnati) - Cincinnati Bengals management was apparently as surprised as anyone they made the playoffs.

'How do you feel about your team making the playoffs?' Bengals GM 'Trader' Lee Remley was asked, accosted by a reporter while he was out on the town Friday night.

'Playoffs?' Remley replied. 'We made the playoffs?'

Apparently with Baltimore and Buffalo chugging along ahead of them in their new division, no one in Cincinnati was expecting another team in the division, namely themselves, getting in as well. But the Bengals made it as the other wild card as no one in the AFC West had as good a record as they did at 8-6.

'I told ya we were comin for ya!' QB Courtney McLemore said during the team's celebration after the Bengals found out they made the playoffs. 'Now we shuffle off to Buffalo and take on the dynasty.'

That will be a tough test, as Buffalo has been there in the postseason many more times than this young team.

'Never count us out,' the Bengals quarterback warned of the team that put up the second most points in the AFC.

He's been right so far.
