Eagles Fans Eagerly Await Return Of GM Lewis
By "Luke Longstretch"

Off-Season 2165 (South Philadelphia) - As afternoon moves into twilight, the number of fans and press gathering at Philadelphia International Airport has been growing steadily - the reason? Longtime Eagles General Manager, Andrew Lewis has reportedly ended his 5yr seclusion which allegedly included a world record setting sail around the world and an attempt to climb the highest peaks on all seven continents.

'The Eagles need him badly,' said one anxious fan, drenched from the day's downpour.

The league has had the franchise under league-control for several seasons, as the Eagles were in danger of going under financially. The return of Lewis could rescue the franchise in the nick of time.

Despite a heroic NFC Championship appearance last season, the Birds have lost the depth that they were long known for. Lewis will need to rebuild the team from the ground up.

'He's done it several times before,' said another longtime fan, 'which is why we're all so excited to see him return. You can bet we'll see another Sundby Cup run in the very near future.'

Lewis is expected to make his first public appearance at the 2165 USAFL College Draft later today. The Eagles hold the 16th overall selection.
