Morton assures players won't be moving West

By "Bruce Allen"

Off-Season 2083 (Miami, Fla) - GM Mike Morton announced today that no players will be leaving the club to head 'West' to Tampa Bay. 'Rumors have been flying linking QB Sam Race, HB Rhett McPheeters and DT Howie Lantz for multiple Miami Draft picks, I am assuring everyone that this will not happen'.

Remley was Assistant in Miami for quite a few seasons and did alot of the work in Miami. He was very close with the players and the player loyalty was there. Apparently Remley made a 'trade' with the Giants, getting him a moblie QB he wanted in Frank Moore. Maybe Morton was too slow to make the supposed trade and 'Trader' Lee grew impatient.

'I have seen what Lee can do and I am glad for him that he gets the deserved GM position, I am even gladder that he is in a different conference than Miami.' Morton later added.

'Lee brought in a different perspective, that I have learned from and will apply, but I still have a tough time trading' laughter breaks out. 'Maybe I can keep Lee's services as a trade negotiator for Miami'.

QB Willie Johnson made the following statement : 'The media has portrayed some bad blood between myself and (Lee) Remley, I wish nothing but the best for Lee and hopefully we can all move on. I have unfinished business here in Miami'.
