Off-Season 2243 (Cincinnati) - The Cincinnati Bengals today announced that LB Kenny Ware has been signed to a franchise player contract, guaranteeing him $8 million for the rest of his career.

Drafted in the first round of the 2239 draft, Kenny cracked the starting lineup last season in his second year, joining veterans Darryl Stanley and Bobby Sloane in the hard hitting Bengals linebacking corps and making a big impression.

'Kenny Ware is a fine example of the young team we are building here,' Cincinnati GM 'Trader' Lee Remley said in a statement. 'We look forward to watching him grow into an even greater player in the future.'

Bengals fans are now looking forward to seeing Kenny Ware down offenses around the league for several seasons to come.
