                            Cap
*As of 2292, the salary cap will be $125 million.
Teams must be under the cap each off-season by the
                            final Roster Cut Night.
 The
league generates and maintains every team's salary
reports. It is still the responsibility of each GM
to make sure his team's report is correct. GMs must
notify the league of any errors immediately.
 Any
team that is over the cap past the above stated deadline
                            will incur a penalty
                            determined by the League Office.
 Player's
salaries are determined based on how they enter the
                            league.
 1st round: $4.000 per season
 2nd round: $3.000 per season
 3rd round: $2.000 per season
 4th round: $1.000 per season
 Waivers Claim: $0.500 per season

 A
veteran in the league has several opportunities to
                            increase/decrease his salary.
 Waiver
Wire Claim: A veteran signed during waivers
                            receives $1.000 per season.
 Free
Agency: Players that are lucky enough to
gain the attention of other GMs during free agency,
can make as much money as the market will bear.
Players signed in free agency can be traded but
never waived. Players have two opportunities to test
the waters of Free Agency, their 6th and 11th
                            seasons.
 Franchise
Players: Teams may have up to three Franchise
Players on their roster at any time. FPs can be traded
but never waived. FPs are exempt from Free Agency
and will maintain their contract status for the life
of their career. FPs are typically the team's super
stars, i.e. players that you want to stay on your
                            team for their entire career.
 Two types of FP's:
 FP3: declared after the player's third (R, 1,
2, 3) season. Salary is $6.000 per season.
 FP5: declared after the player's fifth (R,
                            1, 2, 3, 4, 5) season. Salary is $10.000 per season.

Teams can have any combination of the above FPs,
as long as they only have a total of three FPs on
their roster at any time. Teams must place the FP
designation prior to the start of the regular season.

 How To Declare An FP:
During the off-season, logon to TeamManagement, click
View Roster. Players that are eligible for FP status
have a gold purse icon next to their salary amount.
By clicking the purse, you can award them with a Franchise
Player contract. The player's salary will immediately
update, as well as their name will now have an FP
tag in front of it. You are also required to email
the league list and announce the FP designation. Both
steps have to occur and they are the responsibility
                            of the General Manager.
